Client Advocate

Partners Benefit Group ("PBG") is seeking a highly motivated employee benefits professional to join our rapidly growing organization as a Client Advocate.   Come join our highly successful, compassionate and high-spirited team.

 

The Client Advocate role includes submitting RFPs to carriers, analyzing plans, negotiating rate contracts, corresponding with the clients preparing renewal and plan material, and attending meetings as needed. This role also requires providing customer service to plan members on escalated issues.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promptly answer client and member inquiries
  • Attend client and/or employee meetings
  • Work with insurance carriers to gather quotes
  • Prepare client presentations
  • Maintain agency management system data
  • Prepare of new business paperwork, renewal paperwork and kits for meetings
  • Support Account Manager and/or Producer
  • Work effectively with peers and our affiliated companies’ staff
  • Consistently meet both internal and external deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of related experience, including familiarity with employee benefits administration
  • Ability to travel to client locations and industry events
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and efficient, with extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent critical thinking, judgment, and prioritization skills
  • Superior customer service and relationship management skills
  • High level of integrity and emotional intelligence
  • Independent functioning and team player
  • Suitability for a high performing culture.

 

Compensation:

PBG offers highly a competitive compensation package including: excellent compensation, medical, dental plans, life and disability, long-term care, 401(K), FSA, DCAP, EAP and paid time off.
